DEDICATED INFORMATION SYSTEMS SUPPORT
MRIU has a dedicated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Cell which provides IT and Communication support to all the Faculties and Staff. The Cell plans, organizes and maintains all ICT equipment and campus wide networks for all Manav Rachna Educational Institutitions. An in-house repair facility ensures that downtime is kept to the minimum. Indirectly, it contributes to optimal teaching learning process, besides ensuring a very high satisfaction level for the students.
Keeping pace with MRIU’s goal “to promote quality education”, the spacious, Dr. O.P. Bhalla Central Library offers a platform for research, innovation and development. The Library has a collection of over 1,00,000 books and 50,000 elecronic resources. Library subscribes more than 30000 National/ International Journals and have also large number of e-resources in the form of DVDs and CDs apart from Reports/ Theses/ Dissertations. The Library operations are fully automated. Library also provides suitable reprographic facilities to students and teachers. A well-equipped Library is an icon of quality education in its supreme form. As a New Age library, it provides unlimited access to information in many formats and from many sources. The Library with its state-of-the-art infrastructure, plush and spacious settings, aesthetically done up interiors and huge collection of more than one lakh documents in print and electronic format, is a bibliophile’s dream come true. To students at MRIU, it offers a perfect platform for research, innovation and development and a tranquil ambience to explore the world of books. The fact that it was set up in the memory of Founder Visionary who always ensured world class infrastructure for the students, speaks volumes about its facilities and far reaching impact. To begin with, the Central Library is in sync with the latest in technology, offering a balanced combination of print and digital collections. The online databases like IEEE, ASME, ASCE, Infotrac Gale, J-Gate Ebcosohost, Knimbus and membership of digital consortia DELNET and other professional bodies have opened up a wealth of opportunities for scholars and students alike.
The Library is Wi-Fi and RFID enabled (a technology facilitating self-service of books in areas like the issue of books, return, renewal, reissue, reservation and security management), offering the latest state-of-the art technological applications including e-books, audio-books, ejournals, ipads to maximize the use and ease of library resources. Students at the Library can delve into a whole range of text books, reference books and general reading material for enriching his mind and intellect. You could enjoy books of a varied range- from industrial management to fluid dynamics, human anatomy and Shobha De’s ‘Selective Memory’.
The Central Library is the heart of the campus. Kindles have recently been added to the existing collection of e-books and plans are on to introduce android application for students to check their account status online. With dedicated sections like Discussion Rooms, Audio Visual Rooms, Digital Library and a separate enclosure for Research and Reference, the Central Library is slowly but surely inculcating a reading habit among the young and restless.
ERP AT MANAV RACHNA- A JOURNEY FROM SCRATCH
Any organization with large amount of data, multiple processes, varied requirements, and an integrated management information system is essential. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications are the answer to such requirements. ERP covers the techniques and concepts employed for the integrated management of business as a whole, from the viewpoint of the effective use of management resources, to improve the efficiency of an enterprise. ERP software packages are integrated covering all enterprise business functions
Manav Rachna group was surveying a good number of such application software for over a year and finally shortlisted and agreed to contract the ERP designed, developed and supported by a reputed software vendor Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
At Manav Rachna International University, TCS-iON ERP portal is being used for the last four years and the key modules include:
Professional Virtual Community: This module is a single sign on portal enabling the authenticated user to experience a social networking like interaction with fellow students, Faculty member and management representatives. This portal also acts a medium of Learning Management System (LMS) for the student, participate in online quizzes, debates, and much more. Student can interact with fellow students, their mentors, faculty members and staff. The fundamental difference of this module with the other similar public domain products is the users are authenticated by the administrator and must be a part of the MR family.
Manav Rachna International University has a Cloud campus which acts as a skill development platform that provides globally acclaimed and industry leading cloud based learning systems. It is a comprehensive yet flexible Learning Management System, compatible with multiple devices such as desktops, Laptops, Tablets and Smart phones that will give students and faculty access to a world – class digital library with over 50000 titles from 634 publishers covering Business, Management, Engineering, Finance, IT and many more topics keeping in sync with 7500 plus skill development courses. Over 100 certification courses along with Quality content with cost and operational efficiency are also available.
The cloud campus will work towards bridging the gap between academia and industry by providing students an environment to learn and upgrade their soft as well as hard skills. The cloud campus will also help faculty in supplementing their classroom teaching through courseware and stimulations. The MRIU Cloud campus is meant to create an effective learning model amongst academicians, students and industry to promote and share educational content and research.
TECHNOLOGY IN CLASSROOMS
Students get all the ICT support in their Smart Classrooms and are encouraged to perform as digital learners. The latest technology with Interactive Boards and Projectors is extensively used in the classroom to benefit young learners. The modules are aligned with the curriculum in an interactive and engaging way. All the teachers are allotted laptops to keep abreast of the latest knowledge and technology.
A wide range of health and welfare services are available at MREI campus. The University has a well-equipped dispensary for first aid and minor medical services. The university has a qualified doctor and nursing staff on the campus to take care of the medical emergencies. The University also has two State-of-The-Art, well equipped ambulances to cater to any exigencies thus ensuring highest medical safety for the faculty and the students alike. Besides having the First- Aid room in the campus and a separate sick bay for boys and girls, there is a Stateof-the-Art Out Patient Department of Physiotherapy. The University’s medical consultant is available for consultation between the specified hours on all working days.
MRIU provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Single, double and triple seater rooms are available. The hostels have well-furnished rooms with many common facilities like TV, PCs, Telephone, Table Tennis etc. The hostels have a well-managed & hygienic mess, where nutrition needs and taste of the students is taken care of. Regular transport services are available between off campus hostels & campus. An ergonomically and aesthetically designed hostel basically meant for International students is available with all State-of-the-art facilities
We have hostel facility in Campus for Boys and Girls ( A/C & Non A/C)both.
After taking admission in University/ college, students are eligible to opt for hostel facility. They should fill the Hostel form which will be available in Hostel Office. They should bring tow self passport photographs, one parents photograph and one local guardian photograph, if applicable.

Manav Rachna International University has a fleet of luxury AC Buses providing transport facility to the students of Delhi-NCR covering the various locations of Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon. It has also the fleet of Non-AC Deluxe buses for the local students from Faridabad, Ballabgarh and Palwal. MRIU buses are equipped with all safety devices i.e. GPS, to track the bus location, Route, Speed etc. and Speed Governor to restrict the speed of the buses as per the Supreme Court guidelines, Fire Extinguisher and First Aid Kit. For the safety point of view, Buses of MRIU board (at the time of departure from Campus) and de-board (after arrival at campus) the students inside the campus premises only. Students are allowed to board or de-board the bus at the scheduled stop only.
During end-semester exam days, apart from the regular routes, we also provide the shuttle service for Tughlakabad Metro Station, Delhi, Mathura Road (Badkhal Chowk), Faridabad and Pali Chowk (at Surajkund-Faridabad Road for Gurgaon Students) from the campus after examination is over so that the student’s precious time can be saved. We also allot seat numbers to every transport user on the basis of first-come-first-serve (the student deposit the transport fee first, gets the seat first). Transport ID Card is valid for one Academic Session of the respective Institute. Transport fee is collected one time in advance for the whole academic session at the time of availing transport facility. MRIU is also providing FREE transport facility for the students who avail the Off-Campus Hostel Facility of MRIU. In its endeavor to promote all round holistic development of students, the University encourages participation in extracurricular and cocurricular activities. Towards this exercise, the university supports a number of student Jazz and Rock bands which perform on all important occasions.
