The awards include winners of the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2013 for project ‘Swasthya Sanjivini’, Best New Concept Car Awards with Cash Prize of Rs.1 Lac (BAJA SAE India 2009), Best New Concept Car Awards with Cash Prize of Rs. 1 Lac (Auto Mall Expo 2010), Best Innovation Award (Formula SAE India 2010), 2nd Prize at National Level (Imagine Cup 2011), Grand Prize at National Level (Imagine Cup 2011), Gold Medal at National Level (Intel India Embedded Challenge 2011); Reached the racing track after clearing preliminary checks (Shell-Eco 2012), Cleared all preliminary tests and took part in the final race (SUPRA SAE India 2012).   • Hay Group, a global leader in Manpower Management and Training Consultancy and JBM Group, largest Tier-1 supplier of automobile components and assemblies in India associate with Executive MBA Program. Their Consultants/Senior Corporate Manager shall engage in classroom and lab training.
  • Fortis Healthcare, an Asian giant having – multispecialty start-of-the-art hospital in – countries associates with MBA – Healthcare Management. All students shall have 100 days training in hospital operations and 24 week hospital attachment in Fortis hospitals.
  • NIIT, a national leader in IT training and Institute of Finance Banking and Insurance associate with BBA Banking Program. IFBI faculty shall conduct 375 hours classroom and lab training. The pass outs shall be absorbed in reputed private banks subject to meeting specified academic benchmarks.
  • JBM Group, associates with B.Tech Mechanical Engineering – Industry Integrated Program. JBM functional managers shall conduct classroom and lab training in 3rd and 4th year for specialized subjects. There is 24 week Industry attachment and pass outs shall get assured placement in JBM Group and associate companies banks subject to meeting specified academic benchmarks.
  • NIIT, a national leader in IT training and BPO Certification Institute (BCI), a world renowned BPO / KPO certification organization associates with BCA program. NIIT shall conduct 375 hours classroom and lab sessions. The pass outs can appear for BCI Global Certification Examination namely Certified Technical Support Associate (CTSA) which will enable them to get preferential placement in KPO / BPO sector.
  • Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), partners with MRIU in multi-dimensional academic value addition programs. TCS-MRIU Pragati Project Identifies 20 B.Tech – CSE / IT students in First year. The Community across 4 years indulges in collaborative learning in software programming, testing and project management to acquire employable skills. TCS is the largest employer of MREI pass outs and also provides Comprehensive ERP Solution for complete automation of academic, administrative, financial and managerial activities.
  • Learningware, a multi-national Engineering & Technology content developer, associates for providing Learning Management System to selected B.Tech programs with animations, simulations, and conceptual circuits / figures to help the students to grasp fundamentals and problem solving. The LMS includes assessment and analytics.
  • Maruti Suzuki Ltd, the largest automobile manufacturers in India signs MOU with MRIU to provide support for curriculum development, student projects, feedback on performance of alumni and other academic functions. Maruti accredits MRIU for training and placement of B.Tech pass outs and also donates wood working machinery worth about Rs. 15 Lacs.

  • MRIU renews its focus on R&D and academic excellence. Faculty of MRIU has written 51 Text Books and filed 84 patents. Faculty has published 939 research papers in last 5 years in International Journals (314), National Journals (124) and International / National conferences (501). Research Promotion Group of MRIU promotes R&D activities in the University at all levels. Even B.Tech students have participated in R&D activities in large numbers. All in all, 84 patents have been filed and more than 3,000 research papers have been published in International/National Journals.
  • MRIU provides excellent sports facilities in the campus which include an international Shooting Range, a state of the art Gymnasium, Squash court, and facilities for Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball etc. Director of Sports Mr Sarkar Talwar is a renowned international cricketer and certified Level IV coach. Gagan Narang, Olympic medalist and international shooter is a student of MBA in MRIU and other renowned shooters such as Vijay Kumar, Ms. Anuraj Singh, Ms. Aneesa Syed and Ms. Shweta Chaudhary regularly visit and practice at the MRIU Shooting Range. The University has been organizing T-20 Corporate Cricket Tournaments for 6 years in a row in which top corporates participate.

IAmSME, a frontal organization of Faridabad Small Industry Association has established a TodPhod Jod Centre at FET in collaboration with the National Innovation Council for training of students in hard skills in engineering & technology and for providing consultancy to members of FSIA for solving their industrial problems.
  • MRIU Accreditation include Accreditation by NBA for B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering (2004-2007); Accreditation by NBA for B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics & Communication Engineering (2007-2010); Accreditation by Tata Consultancy Services, Maruti Suzuki Limited, HCL Technology, L&T InfoTech, Campus Connect Program of Infosys, Partnership with EMC Corporation for training on Cloud Computing, Data Storage and Data Mining.
  • MRIU has organized more than 50 International / National Conferences, Seminars, Symposia, FDPs etc. in the last few years. The list includes International Symposium on Recent Advances in Green Chemistry and Chromatographic Sciences”, International conference and exhibition on nanotechnology and solar photovoltaic 2010, Global Symposium on “Stem Cell Technology”, Symposium in Association with the Teesside University, UK; 14th Commonwealth International Sports Science Congress where 600 Sports Scientists / Coaches / Professors participated; First Indo- Japanese Conclave on Global Understanding and Promotion of Health and Sports through Pedagogical Approach was also organised.
  • MRIU is a regular partner of the Government of Haryana in the India International Trade Fair held at Pragati Maidan every year and displays the best practices in educational institutions in Haryana which include the award winning student projects. In November, 2012, MRIU students displayed Formula One Racing Car in the Haryana Pavilion which won 2 awards at SUPRA SAE 2011 held at Chennai, which was a centre of attraction for lacs of visitors in two weeks. In 2013, MRIU students displayed Tractrobot, Smart Blind Stick, Pick and Place Robot, Pills Box, Smart Skull (Helmet), Smart Dustbin, Driver Fitness Tester, All Terrain Bike ATV2, All terrain Car ATV1 and Smart Efficycle (Battery Driven Self Charging Rickshaw). The projects displayed by MRIU students were greatly appreciated by His Excellency Governor of Haryana, Chief Minister of Haryana and a galaxy of other high profile dignitaries who visited the pavilion. Projects in the area of robotics and aeronautics were also the centre of attraction.
  • MRIU attracts students from all over the country and abroad. Presently, MRIU has students from more than 26 States / Union Territories in India and 15 countries including Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Congo, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Nepal, Yemen, Syria, Bangladesh and Maldives.
