Entry Qualification
50% marks in aggregate (Best 5 subjects) in 10+2 in any stream with pass in English.
Mode of Admission
1st preference on the basis of merit in MRNAT-2013 and second preference on the basis of merit in qualifying examination.

1st Semester: Basic Drafting Skills, Colour in Décor, Drawing Techniques, Elements &
Principles of Our Environment, History of Furniture – I, Interior Finishes, Communication –I
2nd Semester: Perspective Sketching, Furniture and Layout, Window Treatments, Textiles, History of Furniture-II, Accessories, Communication – II, Personality Development
3rd Semester: Residential Decor Practicum, Psychology, Studio I, Kitchen and Bath, Lighting, AutoCAD for Decorators I, Marketing Techniques, Building Materials & Construction- I
4th Semester: Business Skills for Decorators, Commercial Decorating, Field Placement, Studio II, Visual Display, AutoCAD for Decorators II, Building Materials & Construction-II
5th Semester: Estimation and Professional Practice, Furniture Design, Building Materials & Construction – III, Studio-III, Visual Display-Retail, 3Dimensional Studio Max-I
6th Semester: International trends, Project Report Presentation, Adobe Photoshop and 3Dimensional Studio Max-II, Internship
Foreign Collaboration
The programme shall be mapped with 2 year Diploma in Interior Decorator offered by Algonquin College, Ottawa, Canada with dual credentials and articulation arrangement for study at foreign campus, if the student so desires.
