Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) awarded gold medals to the students of Faculty of Applied Sciences, Manav Rachna International University

          

Faridabad, April 2012: Alka Sharma, Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Alka Choudhary Bachelor of Science (Human Nutrition & Dietetics) have made Manav Rachna International University of Faridabad and the entire nation proud once again by grabbing the first class first in university exams conducted by MDU, Rohtak.

Both of them were nominated for gold medal. Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who was the guest of honour, gave away gold medals and merit certificates to both the toppers during 15th Convocation of the Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU),Rohtak which was held recently in the University’s Tagore Auditorium.Congratulating the new graduates and medalists, he highlighted the efforts of his government to promote education in Haryana.

Former Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Somnath Chatterjee in his address as the chief guest at the 15th convocation of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) said that the country has great expectations from its youth who should bring in freshness of approach along with youthful energy and passion for addressing the imperfections in the institutions of democracy. The former Speaker also congratulated the bright young students, who had completed their studies.

This is for the fourth time that the students of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions achieved top position in BPT at Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. There are more than five physiotherapy colleges affiliated to MDU, Haryana and Manav Rachna is among the leaders in the profession. Students of BPT from Manav Rachna Institutions gain their experience at the top hospitals and health institutions in NCR Delhi that provides them an extra edge over others.
